Exercise programmes under the instruction of a physiotherapist
Supporting clients with daily living tasks
Catheter care – changing bags, monitoring output
Assistance with medication needs
Specialist tasks
From time to time care workers may be asked to undertake some tasks, which may be considered to be specialist.
These may include:
- Assisting with artificial feeding
Change like-for-like sterile dressings
- All staff PASSPORT trained to cover Ear and Eye drops. Steroid Creams, Compression Hosiery Warfarin and Inhalers
Assistance with eye or ear drops
Ileostomy and colostomy care – changing of bags
Compression Hosiery

Pioneering Care Bicester Ltd was established in 2020 by Ms S Palmer who has worked for many years in domiciliary care, both as a care worker and management. She recognised that there was a real need for a specialist, quality, homecare services within the Cherwell area.
